Oval Block Office, New Bloklyn — In what historians are calling the “quietest landslide in Minecraftian political history,” Timeuw has officially been sworn in as the first president of Game of Free. The outcome was never in question — no votes were cast and he got appointed. The reason? No other citizens had yet spawned.
Shortly after world generation began, the god Aelorus appointed Timeuw as the world’s acting leader. As the first and only human entity to appear in the newly generated realm, Timeuw was granted full executive authority “until such time that democratic structures become viable,” according to the divine scroll.
Leading Without Opposition
Timeuw’s presidency is unique not only for its unchallenged legitimacy, but for its complete centralization of power. While the server constitution allows for ministries, none currently exist beyond fictional placeholders, created by Timeuw “for visual and bureaucratic balance.”
There is no Congress. No Senate. Only a wooden desk, the seal of the Oval Block Office, and the voice of a single man.
“Until more players arrive and the first voter registry is formed, I will guide this nation with fairness, clarity, and creative mode where necessary,” said President Timeuw in his inaugural address.
Foundations of a Free Nation
President Timeuw’s administration is focused on several key priorities:
- Land division: mapping and naming the emerging states of Game of Free.
- Civil structure: determining spawn points, resource zones, and biome-based legislation.
- Cultural identity: encouraging cities to form around unique block types and server lore.
Each state will operate autonomously under the national freedom clause, but must adhere to basic rules of conduct: no unauthorized griefing, no spawncamping, and zero use of barrier blocks without Admin Council review.
The Admin Council & Timeuw’s Role
Beyond his executive position, Timeuw also serves as Head of The Admin Council, the highest authority on server governance. While council seats remain unfilled until further users join, Timeuw effectively holds every role — system operator, judge, builder, and moderator.
Despite this overwhelming control, the president has shown restraint.
“Absolute power in a server without players is just landscaping,” he joked during a press Q&A.
